A coalition of entertainment unions, guilds and groups have sent a letter to President Trump, asking him to support tax provisions that would help Hollywood.

President Donald Trump’s Hollywood ambassadors joined studios, labor unions and producers in asking the White House to expand and extend tax incentives as part of an upcoming budget reconciliation bill.

Leaders of Hollywood unions and representatives of major studios joined with Jon Voight in penning a letter to Donald Trump calling for expanded film and TV production incentives. What was left unmentioned in the letter was Trump’s proposal for 100% tariffs on films produced in other countries.
