Sunday specifically was a big day for the club. The reason for this was because Brandon Woodruff was scheduled to take the mound in a big league game for the first time since he injured his shoulder.

Woodruff went one inning, allowing no hits, no runs, one walk, with one strikeout. He struck out Kyle Manzardo and got Jhonkensy Noel, postseason hero for Cleveland, to ground out to short on a 95 MPH fastball, his fastest pitch of the day and the fastest he's thrown since the surgery.
