Birmingham City will be allowed to sign players from June 1 after the EFL have announced a new transfer window for this summer. The EFL will allow clubs to trade from June 1 to June 10 to match the Premier League’s mini window before the Club World Cup.
City and their Championship rivals will be able to conduct business from Sunday, June 1, to 7pm on Tuesday, June 10, in the first phase and will remain closed from then until June 16. From Monday, June 16, the window will be open for business until 7pm on September 1. It will then remain closed until January 1, 2026.
