The original Looney Tunes animated shorts that aired between the 1930 and 1969 are no longer available to stream on Max, Deadline reports. Warner Bros. Discovery removed them from the streaming service as part of its ongoing shift away from children's shows and towards adult and family programming.

Max has dropped the original Warner Bros. cartoons from its lineup, which our TV critic says leaves us with the pastiche and is similar to removing books from a library.

Looney Tunes fans probably thought that the arrival of The Day the Earth Blew Up in cinemas might be a turning point for the legendary animated franchise, but it seems that Warner Bros. Discovery has instead decided to make it harder than ever for fans to be able to watch the antics of Bugs Bunny,
