South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley speaks out on South Carolina not being the top overall seed in the NCAA women's tournament.

"I'm a little bit surprised," Staley said. "...We put ourselves in the position to be the number one overall seed. And I do think if you do, you know, the blind test and you put our resume against any other team in the field, I think ... you'll pick us. That's just plain and simple..."

South Carolina’s women’s basketball head coach, Dawn Staley is clearly one of the elite coaches in the sport. In 16 seasons as the leader of the Gamecocks women’s team, she has won three national championships and has led them to six final four appearances in the last nine years.
