The new Cadillac F1 team officially announced its arrival at a glitzy South Beach extravaganza packed with industry executives and influencers and highlighted by a musical showcase from Janelle Monáe and actor Terry Crews Jr.

Ahead of the Cadillac Formula 1 team’s launch event on Saturday at the Miami Grand Prix, team principal Graeme Lowdon confirmed to The Athletic that the team has not signed any drivers as of Friday and that no driver announcement will come this weekend.

Cadillac hyped up F1's first visit to America since its approval to join the series in 2026, leading fans to believe that monumental details of the team and branding would be released during Miami's race week. Instead, there was a small, closed party, a new teaser, and the confirmation of the logo they've been using on prior press as official.
