"Thunderbolts*" remained No. 1 in its second weekend while "A Minecraft Movie" and "Sinners" crossed major box office milestones.

Disney/Marvel Studios’ “Thunderbolts*” faced no new competition in its second weekend at the box office; and thanks to strong critical and audience reception, it is earning a respectable $35 million in its second weekend.

North America continues to dominate for Sinners, with a 76% share of the film’s cumulative box office: $214.4m to date. International markets collectively have a 24% share on the title: $68.9m. Global total is $283.3m. It’s now a race to see which film will hit $300m worldwide first: Sinners or Thunderbolts*.
